Today we are proud to announce the next stage of the Dangerous Women Project: two books gathering together some of our favourite contributions!
The first is titled The Art of Being Dangerous: Exploring Women and Danger through Creative Expression, and focuses on feminist visual and literary art. It is due for release in May 2021 from Leuven University Press. The book is available to pre-order in the UK from Amazon now: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Art-Being-Dangerous-Exploring-Expression/dp/9462702721/. International readers can sign up for notifications about pre-ordering from Leuven University Press: https://lup.be/pages/dangerouswomen.

The second is titled Dangerous Women: fifty reflections on women, power and identity. Edited by Jo Shaw, Ben Fletcher-Watson and Abrisham Ahmadzadeh, it is due for release on 3 March 2022.
We have chosen 50 of our favourite pieces, and brought them together into a manuscript. We present biographies, cartoons, poems, short stories, essays and more, by some of the most exciting female voices from around the world. We have welcomed poets, playwrights, academics, journalists, historians, artists, performers and opinion-formers, and indeed anyone with an angle on the theme, to reflect on the danger of females.
The fifty selections have been fully revised and updated, and details of almost 350 more pieces from the project are included in the book. You can pledge for Dangerous Women: fifty reflections on women, power and identity here: https://unbound.com/books/dangerous-women/
