Agnes Török is a multilingual award-winning spoken word poet, author and workshop leader. Török has been featured as a TED speaker, regularly collaborated with the BBC and featured at multiple international festivals for arts and sciences. She has performed on four continents, writing and performing poetry about intersectional feminism, economic equality and the politics of mental health.
Török has toured with her two award-winning one-woman shows, ‘Sorry I Don’t Speak Culture’, about living between places and languages, and ‘If You’re Happy and You Know It – Take This Survey’, about spending a year living according to the science of happiness.
She has just released her debut book, Happiness Is An Art Form, about the science of happiness and the politics of mental health, with Burning Eye Books. More about the book here.
